Obvious throwaway account. But I seriously need help and I’m stuck in a conundrum. So I (21M) have been seeing this girl for a couple months(21 F) and she brought up the idea of dating but I decided it’s better we stay what we are now (we’re kinda FWB’s/in a situationship) so I told her we will probably date in a couple months or something when I’m ready. During those months we grew really close to eachother and she even proposed the idea that I meet her mom. I’ve helped her in the past when she’s gone through rough patches with her mom but never actually met the mom. So anyways I went over to finally meet her, and I was so disgusted by the fact I found her attractive. Like she’s actually good looking, I never even saw pictures of her. What’s so disturbing is that she’s like an older version of the girl I’m seeing. The reason they are also so close is because she was a teen mom who was then kicked out and had to raise her daughter alone I’m assuming. Now if you’ve got up to this point I REALLY WANT TO PREFACE there is not an underlying fantasy here because I know she’s been divorced and from what I’ve heard she’s not even into men anymore, so I’m not having any weird fantasies it’s just the fact that she looks good. Now I’m planning on just completely ghosting this girl or getting her out of my life because I’ve never felt such a weirder feeling in my life. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? (kind of related, like how Billie Eilishs brother was being attacked for dating a girl who looked like his sister).

tl;dr would I be the asshole for ghosting my FWB after meeting her mom and feeling completely disgusted after?
