A I’ve been living with my brother for a little over 2 years and we always have arguments. Tonight he forced me to go to his exes house to help her put up curtains. I needed to go do laundry and he completely ignored me and told me he doesn’t care so now I don’t have clean clothes for opening at my job tomorrow, mind you I haven’t washed in a while already so my clothes are really dirty. We get to the house and I’m obviously not happy about being there and I guess I was looking disrespectful so he goes off and starts lecturing me in the house in front of his ex and his friend (he brought his friend along) I just listen because I already know if I indulge and say anything out of place he’ll go crazy. After his rant about how I’m useless and an idiot, we start going home in his exes car. His friend asks if he can be dropped off at his house because he’s tired and wants to sleep, my brother tells him no I’m taking you home later tonight. His friend is always being treated like this so he’s used to it but he obviously is not happy about it and just sits in silence the rest of the way home. We get home and his friend says he’s taking the bus home, my brother responds “I don’t care do what you want”. We go inside our house and i obviously tired go to my room and relax while my brother turns on his stereo and starts blasting music. Mind you he has a 4 year old daughter who’s also up with him at 10:40pm listening to rap music. 30 minutes later he starts knocking on my door really loud and yells at me to come out. I open the door and he’s just dancing in the living room drinking with his daughter. I close the door because I don’t want anything to do with him, he yells even louder for me to come out and when I do I tell him “no im not coming out I’m tired and I have to work at 8am tomorrow” he says “I don’t care you’re doing what I tell you”. At this point I get upset and raise my voice a bit to tell him that I’m done with him thinking everyone has to do everything for him. He gets upset and says “You didn’t give me the respect at (exes house) so I’m not giving you shit right now” i go out to not cause anymore problems and as I’m sitting down literally typing this he comes up to me and starts dancing and hitting my phone. I get to go to the bathroom and he grabs me by my shirt and pulls me back choking me and says “where are you going ni##a” I said I’m going to the bathroom and he proceeds to follow me into the bathroom and starts yelling at me to stop playing with him. I pull my pants down to use the bathroom because he’s just yelling and I need to pee but he doesn’t care and starts talking about how he went to jail so he doesn’t give a shit. He starts lecturing me like a drunk idiot with the door open while I’m trying to pee. I recorded the next few minutes after that but I wish I could post it here so you guys can see what I’m talking about. But yea am I the asshole?
