So i 20F have been in a relationship with my boyfriend 21M for a year now, my best friend 21F met him through school , they had a class together and just became friends. So i met him, through her. There’s not many details there, she gave me his insta, i DMd him and we started talking. then one day he came to my town with her, surprised me and yeah there on out we were talking then eventually got into a relationship…at the beginning of the relationship she would say things like “I’m the reason you got together you’re welcome” and it was funny the first few times…but then it just…never stopped. she sometimes would send me pictures or something of him in her flashbacks on snapchat and say “you’re welcome for this” or “if you didn’t know me you wouldn’t know him” and she means it in a joking way but it’s gotten to a point where like….i feel like she’s shoving it in my face now. i mean yes i did meet him through her but, him and i are kind of the real reason why we are together lol. Am i crazy? because i don’t want to be an asshole about this when i know she means these things jokingly but its been a year..its just getting old atp..i don’t really engage with it anymore i just laugh or like the message. she’s also in a relationship and has been for a while so it can’t be a jealousy thing i think it’s just maybe a joke she doesn’t want to let me live down or something i don’t even really know.
