I 17f and my friends who I'll call Marie 18f and Victoria 18f went to Universal studios for our senior trip. I originally wasn't going to hang with them, because unfortunately we are a trio. In most trios there is a duo, and they are the duo. It doesnt bother me a lot, since i dont meet with them outside of school. However they found me at the mall (which we stopped at before going to Universal) and they asked me to join them. So I said yes

The day was mostly fun, but it was packed with a bunch of other seniors from other schools. We had finished waiting in line for 2 hours for a roller coaster and it was 12am. We had to get to the busses at 2am, and no one told us where the exit would be. Our feet were hurting, our locker with our things wouldn't open for 30 minutes, and we were all getting irritated.

Marie was very annoyed and kept walking ahead of us to find the exit, and kept losing us, so we had to keep stopping to wait on her. This began to irritate me, but I didn't say anything because my focus was finding the exit. We went the wrong way several times but a teacher in our senior trip group chat was kind of helping, but we were still lost.

I had found a map on Google and was using that to lead us towards the exit we were being told to go to by the teachers in our group chat. I was thirsty, having waited in line for so long a little while earlier. Marie had walked ahead of us again, but Victoria was with me. Well, I told Victoria that I was going to quickly get a bottle of water from a shop right across from us. She nodded and said okay.

I saw her walk off towards the direction Marie went, and I assumed she went to go get marie since marie was walking off again. WRONG. I get my water and turn around and they aren't back yet. It's been about 3 minutes maybe. I figured maybe Marie had walked pretty far ahead and they were walking back now. I wait 5 minutes. 10. It's about 1 30 now, I would say. They didn't come back. I texted Marie asking if they left me, because I didn't see them. I didn't get a response. I was hurt, it was starting to rain. I was in pain from stsnding. I didn't find the exit for another 50 minutes, and it was horrible. I kept crying because I didn't see anyone from my school, had no idea if I was headed in the right direction at all. Finally, Marie calls me.

She asks me where I am? At this point, I'm pissed. I snarkily said, trying to find the exit, but you both left me. And then I hung up.

I texted them both after sleeping on it when I got home. I just told them I was really hurt and confused about why they left me. I also said I didn't want to remain friends after this. From what Marie said, she had no idea I had stopped for water and Victoria had said nothing to her. Victoria just replied with "okay." To my message and after that I just blocked her.

Me and Victoria share a 20 minute class on Wednesday. She was telling her friend what happened and I heard her say. "Marie went one way and OP went the other. I had to make a choice and I decided to go with Marie." He asked her why and she said, "I'm just closer to her."

Honestly, this made me feel stupid. Before i thought maybe it was miscommunication but nope, she just decided to leave me and not say anything to Marie. When I told my mom and another friend about it, they both said i was too quick to block Victoria and that we only have a month until we graduate anyways so it doesn't matter. I personally feel really hurt. I get every one was annoyed but seriously? Who leaves someone in a massive themepark by themselves? AITAH for unfriending them for this?
