A back story, I met the friend (we’ll call him Andy) first over 6 years ago. We messaged over social media but never met in person, but we were both interested in each other. A few months later, I met his friend (calling him Jason) and we talked on and off for 5 years. I’d see them both together at times at Jason’s house or out at events. Andy never made eye contact with me. Never talked to me. Never even acknowledged I was there. Even if we were sitting right next to each other. He never spoke. Jason and I ended things last year and he’s been in a relationship to my knowledge. Andy has now started messaging me on social media again and wants to hang out. Part of me thinks he doesn’t know who I am. Doesn’t realize that was me who was talking to Jason since before Jason we had never seen each other in person. I don’t know if Jason ever talked about me to Andy since we weren’t official or anything close. Jason also admits he loved me and had strong feelings for me. Should I make sure Andy knows who I am? Would I be the AH?
