I live right next to a Sonic drive-in. They get deliveries on Monday and Thursday and the semi will block my driveway. This has been happening for months, but I rarely was out at those time. Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been studying late consistently during the week and I always have to park on the street Mondays and Thursdays. I talked to the driver about it last week, and he explained that there wasn’t really anywhere else to park the big truck because it’s in a residential area. However the only obstacle is some gravel and a curb 10 feet back that they could just roll their dolly over. I pointed that out to them and he said that I’m usually already home at those times, but I politely said he doesn’t have to move tonight because he had already parked and started unloading but he can’t park in my driveway anymore. Tonight, I come home and he’s blocking my entire driveway again. Am I the asshole here? I’m not going to go out and scold him for it, but It’s starting to really piss me off every time I see those headlights when I pull onto my road. What would you do? Call the cops? Thanks.
