Gonna keep this one simple since there’s not much explaining to do, anyways my dad(M50) constantly vents/ talks to me (F24) about his sex life/ relationship problems. Now I’ve never told him anything negative towards him talking about this subject but it does drive me crazy, and it’s kind of annoying to listen to. I really have no expertise in the love life of being an older adult. I’ve been with my high school sweetheart for 7+ years now and that’s a way different ballgame than trying to find a relationship in your 50s I feel like. Anyways every time he talks to me about it I don’t really know what to say and I just give him one word responses every time lol. AITAH for being annoying by him doing this?? I can’t decide if it’s weird for someone’s father to talk about that stuff with their daughter or not. I’ll also add he has ADHD badddd and has never taken medications for it. He has no filter and always said what comes to mind without thinking it through, so his through process just isn’t the same for most people. Is this weird for him to do or no? Should I keep listening to him constantly vent and talk about these problems to me, or tell him it’s inappropriate and he should probably seek therapy or something.
