My husband and I left home at 3 PM to go to the Chinese supermarket, Trader Joe's, and CVS. He needed to pick up medication at CVS, but since he didn't know CVS closes at 5 PM, I scheduled it as our last stop. Later, he got angry because we didn't make it in time to get his medication. When we got to the parking lot, I shut the car door loudly, took two bags of groceries, and went upstairs—leaving him with one box of items and a bag of food. When he came up later, he accused me of knowing about his wrist injury yet still making him carry heavy things. I replied, 'You could have left them downstairs if you didn’t want to bring them up.' Then he choked me, threw me to the ground, and used his body weight to pin me down until I could barely breathe. Who is more at fault here?
