I have this guy friend and we've been friends for about 2 years we're friends to the point that he can tell me about his failed conquest with women he tried to sleep with and failed relationships he's tried to pursue with all this information he presented to me I have decided that this man is not the type of man that I want to be with so he is best off being my friend.

Last night he texted me asking how did I feel about him I told him I saw him platonically as a friend he was upset about the fact that I didn't have any romantic interest in him. Besides the reason stated above in my previous paragraph another reason is also that he hasn't tried there have been no efforts so far at all to gain my attention in a romantic viewpoint . The man can't even ask me on a coffee date.

With all that said my question is this am I the a****** for being emotionally numb to his confession?
