Soo I sold some designer MiuMiu sunglasses on facebook marketplace for like $200. I had other offers for even more but I didn’t want to have to ship them and I really needed the cash, and so this girl lowballed me for $190 and like you know what fine.

She asked if I had the receipt for them, I said no but I have the box they came in with the little satin bag, and they were completely spotless, never worn, no scratches. I actually got the glasses from a friend who bought them at MiuMiu in Sao Paulo but I told her that I bought them myself because my friend is the daughter of a very famous, prolific brazilian billionaire (i know this sounds fake, it’s not) which I didn’t want to reveal to her, and if I told her a friend bought them, she would probably not think they were real. Anway, it doesn’t matter because she knew there was no receipt. We met at a mall and she tried them on in a store, asked me why I was getting rid of them, loved how they looked, sent me the $190, I gave them to her, and we went our separate ways.

Cut to a few days ago A MONTH later, I hear from her. She asks me for a receipt. I say I don’t have one still, she asks for an authentication card, I said I don’t have one, and then she told me to go into the store and tell them my information so they can pull up the transaction. I told her no, she told me to tell her what my last name is so she can look it up. I told her no as I didn’t want to give her the name of my friend who comes from a very high profile family. Also let me just say this now, the glasses are 100% real. Even if they weren’t, the trade already happened. Now she’s SPAMMING me saying I’m deceitful, hateful, and that karma will come and get me unless I agree to refund her. Mind you, I’ve been very corgil with her, very kind, and patient considering she’s a stranger who is blowing up my phone.

I’m considering going to MiuMiu on my own time and getting them to pull the receipt to send her for her piece of mine. But if I don’t AITA? Do I owe anything to this woman?
