I have a very old friend who has moved abroad and comes back once a year for a week or two.

They are always making plans with me and then changing them at the last minute to another date or cancelling them all together.

This year they text me about three months before they were coming back and made some loose plans. I agreed but wasn't holding my breath.

Over the last fortnight they have made plans with me on four occasions and changed the date each time.

I have a very busy job, I'm currently trying to find a new home and I also have a life of my own.

I text them telling them that as this was the fourth time they'd changed our plans that I wouldnt be seeing them as I was far too busy to keep chopping and changing plans.

I've had no response but feel like a weight has been lifted.

I'm also annoyed that had I actually thought they'd not change the plans, I would have had wasted personal leave.
