When I first met my ex, she often invited me over for cake with her friends. Later, we started video calling, but she never showed her face, saying her hair was messy. Eventually, she told me she was autistic.
Our conversations felt one-sided. We planned to meet at the park, but she canceled, claiming she hurt her leg. Later, she said I treated her differently after her autism confession. She also mentioned her ex abandoning her and another guy replacing her.
After I was mugged and nearly lost her number, she showed little concern, even saying she wouldn’t text me unless I texted first. She talked about her cats and her autistic nephews. Once, she got very upset when her cousin brought up her drinking with her ex.
I invited her to the movies since she always said we never went out. She refused at first, saying she was shy, but later agreed — then asked if we should "just be friends." Still, we went, kissed, and spent the day like a couple.
She was private about her phone and only gave me her Instagram after we broke up. Once, after buying me chocolate at the mall, we went to a motel. She asked for the lights off, then became distant and wanted to go home.
She also avoided introducing me to her family. Once, her sister dropped her at my place, and when I mentioned her constant excuses for not going out, she got angry.
Another time, I criticized a game we played, and she stopped playing. Later, she brought me chocolate, we spent time together, and soon after, she broke up with me.
She invited me to a party, changed her mind twice, and told me to arrive exactly at 6 PM. I got there early, her sister let me in. At the party, she introduced me as her boyfriend, but later joked about finding me a “hot girl” on an app.
That night, she asked me to stay over, but I went home. After all the ups and downs, I called and broke up. She cried, blocked me, and later said I’d pushed her into therapy and stolen her happiness. Days later, she texted, saying she missed me more than she expected.
We started talking again until I found her on a dating app. When I confronted her, she told me to find someone else and claimed she was only looking for her friend’s ex.
I confessed I loved her; she replied the feeling would fade. She later invited me to her mother’s birthday, but I didn’t go. Her mom later called, asked if I loved her, and invited me for coffee.
Later, she told me her father was angry with me. I felt terrible and vented online. When she saw it, she accused me of using and deceiving her, said her attitude came from insecurity and autism, and that she had prayed for me daily. Then she blocked me and disappeared.
