AITA for not approving of this idiocy? Our daughter has been shacking up with some asswank for several years. He's married of course, and has kids, but it's "ok because he and his wife are separated." But it's not ok, especially since she has an 11-year old daughter, who is now clinically depressed as a result of the experience and trauma. She wants us to sanction the relationship, but that is never, ever happening. He's just crap stuck to her shoe, and she needs to scrape him off. And the more we try to do to remind her that her parental responsibilities should come first, the worse the situation becomes. She's out of work, he barely works, and the one who suffers the most is our beautiful granddaughter. It makes us both sick to have to live through this.
