I (F18) had an abusive relationship with R (17) over a year ago, we go to the same school & she is kind of notoriously hated for some unrelated stuff with some old friends, so I keep tabs on her whether I want to or not. Part of this is people coming to me with information about her in a "omg no shot she really did that" way, the latest case being some of my classmates recently made a shell account to stalk a bunch of peers on twitter, my ex & myself included, my account is public so I don't really mind, but my ex has a private page & they got in & sent me screenshots of her telling her followers that I've been sending her death threats & stalking her & that *I* was the abusive one in our relationship, & I don't really care what a bunch of overwatch fans on twt think of me but I cant shake the disrespect of it all. I had an online friend group that sent her not really death threats but definitely some horrible things about self harm, suicide, & her home life, but we were on speaking terms at the time & when I found out I had her send me screenshots of everything so I could figure out who it was & block all of them, so twisting it to be that *I* sent the alleged threats when 1. technically no threats were sent & 2. I was only involved in *stopping* the hate messages. I don't want to get into the details of the abuse but she cheated 4 times, once with a twelve year old (she was 15) & would consistently refuse to compliment me unless I was breaking down, as well as constantly threatening to leave me then making a full 180 & begging for forgiveness & making thinly veiled suicide threats if I agreed that we should break up, this went on for a year if you include the weird friends going on dates but not officially together phase we had before getting together, & we broke up in march of 2024. I don't like that she's still posting about me & apparently doing regular checks that she isn't interacting with any pages that I interact with including brands & artists, & I especially don't like that she's making up graphic lies like that because I'm about to graduate & move away for college, I want all of this behind me & if her recent posts escalate to school involvement they might not let me walk. WIBTA if I confronted her? It would be nearly impossible to do without airing out the things she's done to her classmates, which I've avoided doing because she's kind of a genuine NEET, she only leaves the house for school because her parents will beat her if she skips, & i believe she could improve as a person if she just socialized since she wasn't able to until high school.
