📝 WIBTA if I got a lock for my bedroom door?

My (28F) extended family is coming over to visit next month for two weeks. I still live with my mom and am working on moving out. We live in a small 2 bedroom apartment and I never had a lock on my bedroom door. I have been struggling with my mental health and just want to be left alone. I honestly don’t know if I can handle staying at home while they’re here so I’ve been thinking about getting an Airbnb so I can stay out of the house and have some peace.

The issue is just that when I told my mom I’m getting an Airbnb she insists that my aunt sleep in my room since I’ll be gone anyways. I understand where my mom is coming from since it’s her sister and doesn’t want her to sleep on the couch if there’s a bed available. But be honest I hate this. It’s not that I don’t trust my family, but the idea of someone sleeping in my room when I’m not there makes me really uncomfortable. My room is my sanctuary and the only part of the house that I feel like I have control over when I feel so out of control in my own life. I didn’t mind it so much when I was younger but now as an adult I just don’t feel comfortable with someone else sleeping in my own bed. I have all my personal/valuable things in there (jewelry, perfumes, my journals, sex toys, etc.) that would be a hassle to try to find a place to hide them.

WIBTA is I replaced my bedroom doorknob with one that I can lock so they can’t use my room? It just makes me really uncomfortable since I wont be home. Besides that, my mom also tends to barge into my room anyways. I’ve told her countless times to knock beforehand but she’ll knock and then just open my door anyway.
