My friend is hosting a show tonight (at 8pm) and our group of friends is hosting a pregame before (at 6:30pm). My girlfriend has a workout class that doesn’t end till 7, so she wants to skip the pregame and go straight to the show. I really want to go to the pregame since I have nothing on my plate (I’m not doing the workout class), and want to get a little tipsy before the show. It is a standup comedy show with many performers from the audience, and sometimes they suck, so being a little tipsy makes those worse performances more tolerable.I think she’s really upset with me when I mentioned this though because she wants to go to the comedy show with me. Note: the pregame plans were made after she had already booked her workout class so she can’t skip it.WIBTA if I went to the pregame by myself and met up with her at the show later at 8?
