I (18F) and my boyfriend (19M) are going on our first solo trip for our anniversary this weekend, and he was really excited about the hot tub at our Airbnb. I knew he would be so I proposed we buy each other a few swimsuits to wear while we relax together. The problem is I really don’t like the swimsuits he bought me. They’re not bad, they just look like something my mother would wear and not something a teenager would. One is floral green with a macrame trim and the other is a textured blue suit, also with a macrame trim. I really want to just ditch them at home and wear some of my other swimsuits but I know that would hurt his feelings and I’d hate to disappoint him. What should I do?
