So I sent a tattoo artist, a DM asking her for an estimated priceon a tattoo because she doesn’t have full on prices her website it just says $65+ for tattoos and her bio says DM with any questions. I sent her the design and size that I would like and she took a very long time to respond which I don’t mind because I know that they’re busy but she just asked me when I was planning to book and took hours between each message to respond and whenever I asked her again about an estimated price, she read my message and never responded and that was six hours ago. I decided to look into different options for artists because I understand taking a long time to respond because I understand being busy, especially as a tattoo artist tattoos, take a lot of time, but it’s just the fact that she didn’t answer my question through all of our messages and then left me on seen, but was active. So I found a different tattoo artist and I love her work and I sent her a message and she took a couple of hours to respond as expected, but when she responded she gave me an estimated price and told me her availability and we scheduled a day and I booked it for next Wednesday. So I’m wondering if I should message the other artist and tell her that I decided to go with somebody else because even though I never actually booked with her, I did message her interested in booking, so I don’t know if it would be rude to not tell her that I booked with somebody else. I also want to post about getting a tattoo next week, but she follows me and I don’t wanna post that. I’m getting a tattoo and her just see it and be like oh she didn’t book with me. I feel like that’s rude so what should I do? Would I be an asshole for telling her or more of an asshole if I don’t?
