So we’re watching Squid Games S2 and there’s a scene about a father having to chose between mother and child during childbirth so she asks me. I tell her I just wanna watch the show and eat but she just gets mad. So I tell her my answer as honestly as I can, that I would chose her, however, idk what I would ACTUALLY do in the moment when I have to make that decision since I am not a parent and idk how being a parent would change me.

She does NOT take it well. She gets so mad and we’re they’re for 30 mins with her saying she can’t believe my answer and it tells her so much about me and what I think of her and I’m like you asked me… if you can’t accept the answer or don’t like the answer don’t ask it. I try to assure her I love her etc but she does not let up and eventually is crying… I kept trying to tell her that I 100% would pick her at this moment and think 100% would pick her at that moment but idk what I would ACTUALLY do but she just kept twisting it. Now she just won’t talk to me. Ironically we were supposed to try having a baby tonight (been trying for a few months now) and will not be doing that. Should note that she did have a miscarriage like 6 months ago and REALLY wants a baby (I didn’t so much before she actually got pregnant but did after and she knows this).
