My wife is a new driver, and has only been driving a year. She's almost 50. She doesn't make a lot of money. She has conquered demons to learn how to drive.

She made a mistake and the school bus ticket-cam got her and slapped her with a $300 ticket. She asked me if she could use our joint account (my money mostly) to pay for it.

I said HEEELLLLLL NO! And told her this is her responsibility and she has to take care of it by herself. I've gotten numerous traffic tickets in my life and had my car impounded, and spent the night in jail, and suffered through a paycheck - I learned my lesson and now it's her turn!

Am I wrong?
