I really need to get this off my chest and seek advice cause i really don’t know what to do.

I 22f have a best friend 22f. we have known each other since we were babies and we still talk to this day.

I have an OF, which i’ve been making a living of for 5 years. I have some top fans, that i sometimes give “special” offers to. I give them my snap, and they use venmo to pay me for my stuff there so we avoid the taxes OF has. Today i texted this one guy who spent almost 2000$ the last 3 years on my content and offered him my snap instead. he agreed and said he hoped to keep it the privacy. specifically he said “yk me already a little bit, no drama, but we have been in touch before and u might recognize my number when i venmo you (it’s not venmo but i’ll call it that for privacy reasons).

i got a bit unsettled by that comment, so i asked him how we know each other, and he didn’t specify anything, but said that “if it got out, i would be more exposed than you without clothes on”.

he sent me around 250$ and when i saw his name i got this bad feeling. cause his name is VERY common. imagine like “Matthew Smith”. It’s something thousands of people are called. ik at least 3 in my friendgroup w that name.

so i immediately sent the money back and told him if this could wait until tmrw.

he got a bit anxious i think, cause he said “wow, did it hit too close to home..?”

i googled the number and figured that it’s my friends dad. who i’ve known since i was a baby. she has a child herself now, and she doesn’t really speak w her father due to some family issues.

i haven’t answered him since i figured it out, and i’ve spent the last two hours looking into how long he’s been following and how much he has spent on my profile. he has been my “top fan” the last 3 years.

so my question is, would i be the AH if i told my friend? i really wanna tell her, but my friends keep advising me to keep it private, since it won’t do anything but damage their relationship further. and i agree with that, but how am i supposed to keep that from my best friend of 20 years? if it was my father idk if id want to know. what do i do????
