Me: “Do you still believe trump is good for the economy?”

Me: “You gonna answer the above?”

Him: “Yes. Do you even know what his goal is with tariffs? He is forcing companies to move back to the US and not be taxed. And that will result in Americans earning a decent pay and they can afford to buy luxuries which will grow the economy.”

Him: “Without high paying jobs that we can be proud of, American workers are just treading water.”

What should I even say back?
