Yesterday is a prime example. I was talking to my ex (we’re still talking and being cordial) and he was telling me about a situation that happened locally that was in the arrest papers. He asked a question and I answered.

Specifically he said “I still don’t know why no one was at the scene”

I said, “because the friend fled”.

Then he said “OH MY GOSH. Can you not interrupt me?”

He’s always complaining I interrupt him. I’m not trying to, I’m just trying to add points to what he’s saying.

I’ve been working on being a better listener but I like to chime in.

No other guy I’ve ever dated has complained about this. They may have said I don’t listen the best but no one has ever got upset like this for me interrupting.
