AITA- my daughter (22) will be graduating in less than 4 weeks. When she was 16 her dad began a relationship and the woman didn’t exactly get along with my daughter. They later married and had a child (3F) who my daughter has only seen 3xs. After turning 18, when my daughter would go over, her dad would come outside because his wife didn’t want her in the house so she stopped going over. He has not helped her with anything these last 4 years she’s been in college. I have supported her in every way like I told her I would. Now she’s graduating with her BSN and BA and when the topic comes up, I tell her he doesn’t deserve to see her walk the stage or take part in her accomplishments. He’s the kind who has posted on social media about her accomplishments even though he’s never been there to see them in person and his friends comment about what a wonderful father he is. AITA for not wanting him there to celebrate her?
