πŸ“ AITA for accusing my (49) husband of becoming selfish and inconsiderate after his fitness journey?

My husband Paul (50), lost a ton of weight in the last year. Over 100 lbs., going from buying 3XL t-shirts at DXL to flashing his biceps at me while in a size M Lululemon tank top. I've been so proud and supportive of all the changes he’s made, from switching to a vegetarian diet to taking up a variety of fitness activities (yoga, swimming, biking). He's gone from being a couch potato who barely got any exercise to a full-blown marathon runner. It's been incredible to watch him become the person he is today, but it's also become his entire identity.

The problem arose last week. Our daughter wanted a sleepover, and the house was a disaster. I had a crazy workday, so Paul agreed to handle the kitchen while I tackled everything else. Then, he had to take a "stressful work call.” And then another one. Three hours went by and the kitchen was still messy. When he was done with his calls he did a minimal effort clean-up (that was so sloppy that I had to clean it again) and then announced his 10-mile run was starting. He said he needed it for his mental well-being after the calls.

Meanwhile, I was running around like a headless chicken trying to get the house ready, pick up groceries, everything. I barely finished in time. When he got back, all blissed out from his run, I strongly suggested that he could've pushed back his workout by a half-hour in order to help me, especially since he had promised. He blew me off and basically said his run was more important for his mental state.

Honestly, it feels like ever since he got into fitness, his needs always come first. I was so supportive of his health journey, but now I feel like I'm constantly picking up the slack while he prioritizes his workouts. I told him to his face that he acting inconsiderate and selfish, and now he's pissed off at me for being unsupportive of his life goals. AITA for feeling like his newfound health kick has made him a bit of a selfish jerk?
