My(20f) boyfriend(22) comes over for dinner every other week. Both of my parents are very fond of him, having known him for many years now.

The thing is, yesterday Mom decided to use him as an example for my younger brother(12). She told him that if he eats a lot of fruits and vegetables like my boyfriend, he’ll grow up to be handsome like my bf. I suppose all the vitamins in the food he eats do contribute to my boyfriend having healthy/glowing skin but it still made him uncomfortable.

He told me he doesn’t like this sort of comparison since his parents did something similar, telling him he should be more like his cousin with regard to study ethics. We later talked to my mom about this but she said she only wants my brother to have a good male example since Dad doesn’t eat healthy.
