I've been really dedicated to getting fitter over the last few months, eating healthier, and going to the gym consistently. I’ve seen a lot of progress and I’m really proud of it. However, my partner has started making sarcastic comments about my routine, like “So how many calories are you burning now?” or “I thought that was your cheat meal, guess I was wrong.” I know they’re probably just joking, but it’s starting to get under my skin. I’ve talked to them about how it’s making me feel self-conscious, but they just say I’m being too sensitive and that they’re just teasing me.
AITA for asking them to stop, or am I overreacting? I feel like my fitness journey should be something we support, not something that gets belittled.
