In 2021, in November, it was my (37F) daughter's 8th birthday, and we took her to chuck e cheese.

She had been having behavioral issues since September of that year, and has been doing things like hitting, kicking, scratching, and being disrespectful to me and my husband (43M).

While we were at chuck e cheese for her birthday, she started feeling sick. She is autistic, so the lights and sounds can be overstimulating to her, and plus the food probably contributed to it. Not like being poisonous but just eating a lot.

This has already happened the time before that when we went for her 7th birthday. Both times we checked in with her to make sure she would be ok going there, due to her autism, and she said yes both times.

She started crying, and I felt bad for her, but at the same time, it cost a lot of money to take her there and to have fun, so I was really pissed off. Eventually I snapped and told her, "You're being selfish right now.", in this soft but stern tone. I didn't stay mad at her and took her outside to comfort her, but felt bad.

Yesterday, she (now 11), got into a huge arguement with me and my husband (her dad) about how we are, "terrible parents". She was saying stuff about us getting grumpy with her when we shouldn't, and we were explaining to her that she's being hypocritical since she also does that a lot, and she actually does, and has done worse things than we have ever done.

At some point, she brought up the incident of me telling her she was being selfish at chuck e cheese, and I told her that we have to drop a lot of money to have fun there, so that's why I told her that.

She wasn't satisfied, and continued arguing about other things we've, "done", which lasted for at least over an hour. Eventually, my husband snapped and told her to watch a video or go to bed now, even though it wasn't time yet. She ended up going to bed early because she would stop.

Anyways, despite me being fustrated with her arguement with us last night, I still feel bad, and wish I handled her feeling sick better, but at the same time, going to chuck e cheese was expensive, she had wanted to go and promised it would be fine, so I was really fustrated about her starting to feel sick there.

I am not sure, I really need y'alls opinion.
