me (m20) and my girlfriend (f19) have been together for almost 3 months now, and things have been going pretty smoothly up to this point.

we went on a drive not too long ago and i brought up car sex, not in a way that meant i wanted to have it but as a concept i guess. for context, i lost my virginity this past january to my girlfriend, but she has slept with other men before me. i understand that and don’t get upset about it too often.

she told me when we were driving that she’s had a lot of car sex and for some reason, it made me pretty upset. not that she was sleeping with another guy at that time, but i guess it was because i felt lower than them. only because it wasn’t me.

this honestly makes me sound controlling over my girlfriend, which is the farthest thing from the truth. i just don’t understand why, especially because all of her exes before me have treated her like shit, i get jealous at the fact that they’ve had car sex with her before i was in the picture. it’s so stupid but it’s been on my mind for a while.

so, am i the asshole?
