We have an older dog, probably around 11-12 now. She's got trouble with her hips and isn't always the quickest moving creature around.

Anyway, a few hours ago the wife calls me upstairs as she "needed help." I ask with what and she just repeats asking me to come upstairs to help. I go upstairs and she proceeds to tell/show me where the dog peed. At first I'm confused as to when it happened as the door was closed most of the day, but that's really not important.

The dog was still on the bed and after cleaning off pillows and whatnot, I had to tell her to get off... twice. In no way did I scream at the dog or even touch her. I just sternly told her to get off the bed (so i could strip the fitted sheet) and flicked her off while I was walking around the bed.

My wife is mad at me and thinks I had no right to get mad at the dog, as, "I was the one who brought her home,"....5.5yrs ago. I think I'm justified in being upset as of all the places she could've gone, she picked the bed and it's not like no one was here to let her out. And again, all the dog got was the bird. Childish, possibly.... but a**hole worthy?
