I was raised Catholic, I’m currently living on one paycheck, was emotionally abused at my old job, I’m autistic with issues

Thing is the world is falling apart in the states alone we have Orange president ICE Someone wanting Autistics on a registry and a cure for them Fighting with Canada

In the world there is at least one war one that is a war or a genocide depending on how you see it

And I hate it all of course but I can’t do anything I can’t even get people to listen to me when I try and advocate for myself so AITAH if I just ignore the news and landscape infront of me? Or is it okay to protect my mental health even though people are suffering and as a catholic I would have been told to do what I can to help
