I'm basically estranged from my mother. I'm the third of six kids. I'm the only one of my siblings with their own kids. I have a horrible relationship with my mother for many reasons, she has no relationship with my kids. We occasionally see her on holidays but that is it, despite the fact that she lives roughly 2 miles from me.

One of my siblings asked if we wanted to get a group sentimental gift for her for Mother's day and we'd all have to kick in $100-$125 each. I said no. They all still have a relationship with her, I'm the only one who doesn't have a relationship with her. My siblings are obviously upset that I'm not participating. Like yes, I can afford to kick in my share. But I have no desire to give this woman a sentimental gift due to her horrible behavior and mistreatment. AITAH?
