I (21F) have been with my boyfriend (22M) for 2 years. We're pretty serious and basically living together in my apartment.

Last month, my childhood best friend "K" (21F) got suddenly dumped by her fianc and was devastated. She needed a place to stay because they shared an apartment, so I told her she could crash with me for a few weeks.

Here's where it gets messy. My bf was totally fine with it at first but started complaining after day 3. He said K was "always around" and "ruining our privacy." Thing is, K was barely there except to sleep - she was working or job hunting most days.

The breaking point came when I got home from class last week and found all K's stuff packed up in the living room. My bf had literally packed her bags while we were both out! He said he "did me a favor" because I was "too nice to tell her to leave."

I completely lost it. I told him he had no right to make that decision in MY apartment that i pay for (he contributes to groceries but not rent). I ended up telling HIM to leave instead and that K could stay as long as she needed.

He's been blowing up my phone saying I chose my friend over our relationship and that I'm throwing away 2 years over "some girl who's using you as a hotel." My mom thinks I overreacted and should've compromised. His friends are calling me controlling and saying I emasculated him.

But like... he packed someone else's belongings without permission in My apartment?? K has been nothing but respectful and keeps offering to leave, but I refuse to let her be homeless because my bf can't handle sharing space for a few weeks.

AITA for kicking my bf out when he tried to evict my homeless best friend?
