Lost my job so I stay with cousin for a bit. I am not paying rent or utlities while I am here. I did try to pay a least a little bit but they said no.

This home is fine except for one thing...it has a gnat infestation I was not informed of.

While my cousins will try to kill them , it was all passive. It was lights and sticky traps and ACV. But no active killing. It made a tiny dent. But then you also had to walk around the house with dead bug traps everywhere. These traps are powerless when dog poop is left out in the garage and used cans and old food are kept inside the house for days. I lost a lot of weight because I couldnt cook without being attacked by bugs.

My cousin wants me to use this special spray to kill bugs but its actually just a mosquito repellant. I used raid and he told me no because it stains and this is a rental. I bought the another spray (Zevo fwiw) and its ACTUALLY killing them. I wake up every morning and kill them and then come back in the afternon and kill more. Cousin is mad because it stinks and leaves residue.

NOW THE BUGS ARE GONE. I only have to kill 10 a day and cant miss a day. But my cousin says its his house, his rules.
