We (me f27 and husband m30) immigrated about a year ago, and i had my first baby 7 months ago. My MIL insisted on visiting for as long as her visa allows. I negotiated and settled for 3 months. We have a 1 bedroom apt and I am still navigating post-partum and the new Life ..etc She’s here now, and I often get overwhelmed by her presence because I have to be with her all the time Since my husband uses our bedroom for work. I often end up crying to him that my social battery has imploded and I miss my Space, Which understandably puts so much pressure on him. Is it normal to feel/act this way or am I just an asshole?
