I’ve been close friends with Sarah for over 10 years. We’ve been through a lot together, and I always thought our friendship was strong. A few weeks ago, she texted me saying I wasn’t invited to her wedding because “things are complicated” and “we’re just not as close anymore.” I was really hurt because I’ve always supported her and was looking forward to celebrating such a big moment in her life.

I didn’t argue with her about it, and I didn’t press for more details, but I decided not to reach out or try to fix things. Now, I’m questioning whether I should have tried harder to talk to her or if I should’ve just accepted that maybe our friendship has run its course. I’m feeling a bit conflicted—AITA for just moving on instead of trying to resolve things before the wedding?
