📝 AITA for not eating mums baking?

My mum is quite a heathy person, she loves to eat raw food and quite often bakes heathy versions of regular foods. For example she will make brownies but use a heathy sugar and natural coconut powder.

My sister was always the one who loved Mum’s baking and would routinely eat it. My sister is away on a month long visit to a friend in another country.

A few days ago I woke up to find that mum had baked a twenty or so oat cookies with some sorta nut flour. I gave one a try but unfortunately as someone who dislikes nuts and oats it just wasn’t for me.

My dad also tried one and didn’t really like it either. My dad really hates oats. We thanked mum for making them but obviously wouldn’t have anymore besides that.

During lunch today mum expressed that she felt a little sad because we hadn’t been eating her cookies and that she baked them for us.

I thanked mum again for making them but let her know that every time she bakes one of her heathy deserts it’s always her and my sister who eat them as me and dad are just not a fan. She then told me that she thought I would like it because it had oats and I had to tell her that it’s my sister who likes oats and not me.

My sister who absolutely loves mums baking did suggest a while back that mum just double check with us before baking a huge batch of food so nothing gets wasted and mum refused to listen to that suggestion claiming that her baking is a fun surprise for us.
