Lieu* So, my girlfriend moved out and in with her daughter and grandkids a few months ago, right after the youngest was born. We don't know how long it will be for, and it might even be permanent, but we're estimating 2 years. In the meantime, I've had my helper stay over on occasion to help around the house in exchange for free food and to use my bathtub and laundry. She lives in a 5th wheel camper. Also, it's beneficial when I have to travel or be somewhere earlier than usual since I don't have to wait on her.

I mentioned getting a roommate the other day and she asked. I said no. She got upset because she already stays there sometimes and doesn't think it would be a big deal. My biggest issue aside from spending all day with her as it is, is I don't want to be the only source of income for my house. If I slow down with work, so does she, and I would effectively be paying her to pay myself.
