So basically(26M) my (22F) girlfriend and her friends birthdays are coming up and for their birthday they want to go to another state to celebrate.

There’s going to be 4 girls and 4 guys. My girlfriend and her cousin are insistent that the girls and the guys sleep separately like a slumber party in our airbnb and want me to share a bed/room with the other 3 guys.

I personally don’t really want to sleep with three other guys and so I asked if it was OK if I were to sleep in the living room on the couch or even on the floor somewhere else, but they’re insistent and said that the other guys will feel offended if I went to sleep separately from them, which honestly I don’t really care about. I don’t really see why it’s a problem if i were to sleep on the couch our even the floor.

We have a budget of around $700 a night for our Airbnb and so I started to look for places that also fit under our budget that had more bedrooms instead of the two single beds and one queen bed accommodation for 8 people that they picked I don’t wanna overstep and make it seem like the birthday is about me, but at the same time, I don’t want to sleep with three other guys, two of which are a couple and the third is known to sleep shirtless and gets sweaty.

AITA for wanted to sleep alone or away drink the group and trying to find an accommodation that would work better?
