Context: I 23f have a genetic disorder/ chronic illness eds aka Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Both hypermobile eds and vascular eds run in my family. In my family those with vascular had hypermobile first and later developed to vascular. I have hypermobile but also have vascular symptoms (insurance won't pay for me to be checked)... my brother 10 is adopted and went through cps/ foster homes and has behavior issues. Here is the issue: I went to send him outside as he was making the 3 year old squeal/ scream while playing. My mom is sick with the 2 year old so I am trying to let them sleep for as long as possible. The 10 year old was told to stop mutiple times but he wouldn't listen. It is only 4:30pm and he's allowed to be outside untill it's about 5:30pm 6pm ish depending on the weather/ temperature. He was throwing a fit over the fact I told him to put socks and shoes on. We live on a farm and he goes all over the property. We have glass/ metal on and in the ground. We moved here in December so we are just getting to pick all of it up. He went to kick my face as I was putting his socks and shoes on for him so I lightly pinched his toe with my nail. There are no blood or marks on his toe.(he threw a fit for over 30 minutes so I was done with asking and being nice at this point). If he made contact with my nose/ face I would have to be rushed to the hospital as I bleed very easily and bleed a lot. He was aiming for my nose and the force he used would have broke my nose. He also was hitting punching, slapping, and pinching his own feet and legs and arms. I text my mom to let her know so he won't be able to blame me for any bruises/ marks.
