Usually on the weekends my family and I like to go out to eat at restaurants farther away (say 30/40 minutes away from us). Usually I take around 25 minutes in the restroom all round to finish everything up - not including drying my hair, and they like to tell me that I “can’t use my fcking time properly.” Today they went out to buy backyard supplies for some renovations and told me to come outside to help them when they got home (I agreed to help them get the supplies but they drove off without telling me anything) and we ended everything at close to 9 pm. I told them that I would wait to cool down before taking a shower as I was sweat but they insisted that I take a shower immediately. I sat in my restroom cooling down and eventually went to take a shower when they went to my door and asked me if I was going to go eat with them. Atp I told them no and to go without me but my dad told me that they would wait. This continued several more times before i hopped out of the shower to dry my hair. Mind you I’m very prone to getting sick if my hair isn’t dried properly (happened several times alr). As I was drying my hair my dad went up to me and told me “WE WERE ALL WAITING FOR YOU!” “YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO FCKING USE YOUR TIME WISELY!” He told me that if I didn’t want to go I should’ve told them before I went in the shower. He then told me that I he wouldn’t be buying me anything anymore so don’t consider asking. They left and now my mom is texting me “You are an unreasonable and irresponsible person. From now on, don't ask momy to do anything for you. If you need anything from us, beg for it. If we are happy, we will do it. If not, we don't have to just like the way you treat us.” (translated) I don’t know if I should feel sad. Tears are falling down but i don’t really feed sad. Am I the asshole?
