I’ve been dealing with this group of friends I had, we used to be really close friends but this past year something changed in them, I can’t remember a single time they treated me like a human being, they were always making fun of me, hurting me physically and emotionally by saying hurtful things in front of me or behind my back, one time we went to get lunch and they went to sit on a bench so I joined them, they immediately got up and said “let’s go somewhere else, the little fag ruined it”. Yesterday I told them how much I wanted them to stop bullying me about everything and i asked them why we couldn’t be friends like before, they just told me not to think of it as a big deal and to kms if I felt so bad. I kept my distance from them for the rest of that day and today while I was minding my own business they came up to me and said “hey do you want to hang out?” I stood there speechless until I worked up the courage to tell them to fuck off and leave me alone, that I wouldn't put up with any more of their crap, and I walked out. Now they're in our group chat saying what a "bad friend" I am for "not being able to take a joke." I just left that groupchat and i definitely need new friends..
