📝 AITA for thinking my girlfriend’s coworker is creepy for telling her she had a dream they made out?

My (21M) girlfriend (22F) and I have been together for 5 years. Things are good between us, we’re both in school and working part-time jobs until we graduate next year.

We talk about our days, our coworkers, the usual relationship stuff. One of her coworkers, let’s call her Stacy (40F), has come up in conversation a few times. Stacy is apparently nice, has given us cat food for our pets, a Christmas gift card, and is friends with my girlfriend’s aunt and mom. I never thought anything weird about her.

Until yesterday.

My girlfriend told me this “funny” story about how Stacy told her she had a dream that they made out. I immediately thought that was weird and inappropriate, like, who says that to a coworker? I don’t care how close you are, that’s just crossing a line to me. My girlfriend thought it was harmless and brushed it off as just a stupid, funny moment. But I couldn’t help but feel like it was off. Like… if the genders were reversed, everyone would probably call it out, right?

I didn’t ask her to do anything about it , I didn’t say stop talking to her, quit your job, or anything drastic. I just said that I think it’s inappropriate and honestly creepy. My girlfriend said I’m being dramatic and kind of an asshole for reacting that way.

So, AITA for thinking it’s weird and creepy and saying so?
