📝 AITA for wanting to break up with my gf over inconsistent effort?

(M24) have been dating my gf (F23) for three months. Early on, things were rocky when I first asked her out, she hesitated and admitted she wasn’t sure about the relationship, citing proximity (we shared the same school block) as an issue. Didn't make sense but I respected that and agreed to end things.

But the next day, she texted me saying she wanted to try again, calling herself "a bit toxic" but insisting she was serious. I gave her another chance, and for a month, things were great. Now, though, she’s back to her old patterns: late replies (e.g., answering my "good morning" texts in the afternoon), low energy, going offline for hours and barely communicating.

I get that school is demanding, but when you care about someone, shouldn’t you at least try to meet them halfway? Even a quick "Hey, swamped today, talk tonight" would help. Instead, I’m left feeling like an afterthought.

I’m ready to end it, but part of me wonders if I’m overreacting. AITA?
