Grounds keeper at a pitch, we take alot of pride as a club over our cricket square, it's roped off when we aren't playing.

A mum let her 5 year old go down there unattended and the kid has got tangled up in the rope on 2 occasions now and she's phoned up blamed the club for the incident. It's like this every summer. Had no problems with it being roped off before. aita for telling her she shouldn't be letting her kid wonder off down the road unsupervised. We have had other problems with mum's taking thier toddlers to jump on the grass covers because they allow the kids to bounce (like a trampoline), this caused the mobile cricket covers to bend and caused approx 2k worth of damage so we had to put signs up as they are every expensive to repair, thought the adults would have more common sense than to let the kids ruin all of the cricket equipment! But apparently not.
