My (43f) ex (44m) and I both enjoy a band called Devil May Care from Georgia circa 2002. He introduced me to the band by sneaking me into a bar 2 weeks before my 21st birthday. Fast forward 23 years and we are discussing the band via FB messenger. I find a copy of their only CD on eBay and tell him about it by telling him to tell me "I do not need to spend 30 on a CD" and explaining where I found it. Due to past circumstances with a different ex I had to create a new account. While I am creating my password, he buys the CD. He tells me he will burn me a copy of it and then brags that some of his friends say it was my fault for hesitating. I explain to him that I would have the CD had he not bought it out from under me before I could complete the sign up and that it was the only copy available and I wish I had never told him I had found it. AITAH for being pissed that he bought the CD I found even though we both enjoy the band?
