My mother (78) lives with my husband and I. Due to financial restraints she doesn’t contribute to to any of the household bills (mortgage, utilities etc) I do laundry for my husband and I once a week; 2-3 full loads max. My mother will do laundry several times in a week but the problem is sometimes these loads have only 4-5 items in it. It’s an insane waste of water/electricity for such a small load. I’ve asked her to wait until she has a full load but week after week it’s the same thing. I’m sure if she were paying the water and electric bill it would be a different story. AITAH for demanding she do only full loads of laundry?
