I (20F) and my friend Lauren (18F) have been friends for about 2.5 years. We met at work and instantly clicked, been on trips together, endless conversations, and other bestie activities. She had a baby about 1 year ago and ever since then it’s definitely been harder for us to meet up and hang out, but we always try to make it work. Anyways, this new girl ( Sammy) started at our job and at first me and her really hit it off. Went shopping and even grabbed lunch once. Soon after this I went on a trip and when I came back she was being rude to my sister so I made a comment defending my sister. It wasn’t bad or even mean, just expressing how she shouldn’t be so mean. Well she blocked me on instagram and I found out a couple days later. Me and Lauren hung out a couple days before this. She was the one that also told me Sammy was being rude to my sister and she was also talking other crap on Sammy for flirting with all the boys at work and such even though she is literally married but that’s another story. Now it’s been couple weeks and I’m finding out from people around me that Lauren and Sammy are going to the gym together and hanging out. Tonight she posted a craft they did together. I know I’m probably just jealousy, but I’ve always put this friend first and have done so much for her so it just hurts she discarded how I might feel. Am I The Asshole for upset? What would you do in my situation?
