Wish I was joking. I will probably end up deleting this but I just need to know if I'm crazy or overreacting or not. For some background, my brother(21) and his gf(19) have been together for about a year. She doesn't have the greatest parents, my mom humbly invited her into our home. But now she lives here pretty much permanently. Don't get me wrong, she's a sweet girl, so sweet to where it's sickening. But I personally NEVER can stand her. She's kinda a bum, she relies on my brother that still lives with his family and doesn't have a big income. Half the time, my mother is paying for her expenses and doing her taxes. SHE USES MY CAR. She also uses seeing my grandmother living at a nursing home as an excuse to see my brother, because he works there. She doesn't really clean up after her messes, especially today. Before this I already had to pick up a used tampon (nobody in this house has a period anymore because of menopause or birth control) off the bathroom floor. It could only be hers. Cleaning that bathroom is supposed to be my chore.

I had to go to the bathroom since 7am when I got up. But I prioritized cleaning my bedroom with two sick cats, and making sure they eat their medicine. When I went to toss their bedding in the laundry room, I noticed the shared bathrooms bathroom mat with a large brown stain on it. Okay, weird. I noticed a small brown smear on the sink, still weird. But my brother and his girlfriend have a puppy they brought home without permission and her muddy paws get all over sometimes without them cleaning up. I thought it could've been the culprit. When my brother finally left the bathroom for work I had to go very badly by then. So I didn't think twice before sitting on the toilet, and when I went to get off, I noticed more brown stains on the toilet SEAT. Now I'm starting to get suspicious. So I told my mother, who was also confused and went to ask my brother's girlfriend about it.

She returned and started huffing and puffing, I kept digging for an answer but my mom ignored me. She came back 10 minutes later to tell me she wasn't mad at me, but the girlfriend got her human shit all over the bathroom. So now im even more angry that I had shit particles on me and had to get in the shower immediately, which I did while my mom cleaned the bathroom with me in it.

I got out the shower, went back to my room and my mom came in here, laughing. I tried to tell her idk how she's laughing because I wasn't. I'm disgusted and annoyed and going through every stage of grief. She says it's fine, she was mad at first and now she's just gonna laugh it off. I get it, my mom is used to this. She's been a nurse, she's now a midwife and my step mom has a colostomy bag because of her cancer. That doesn't mean I am. I have to look her in the face on my birthday, next Sunday. To which I'm going to an event that my dad bought tickets for, and probably got her one because wherever my brother goes, she does.

This turned into a vent post but I seriously had to get it off my chest. I think my mom is too lenient on her and my brother. I love that she's so selfless but I don't think she should keep letting her off so easily. After I sobbed because I didn't want to be in the car with her, or go to this event with her on my birthday my mom finally realized how much I disliked her. She says "I have every right to be upset" but she doesn't do anything about it for me. I don't know.
