I (19) have been seeing my girlfriend (20) for a few months. When going into the relationship she was clear about her habits and it didnt bother me: ive had experience with other addicts and some issues myself. Over the time we spent together ive taken her to hospital, held her through binges and detox many times. I took her to her apointments and called any help that was needed including making the apointments for her or emergency services. She relapsed about 3 or 4 weeks ago which resulted in a family intervention. I messaged her mum asking if she was ok which ended in them finding her in a binge. She messages every few days and suggests plans she never follows through on. Im basacaly in a relationship with a brick wall except every few days it apologises. Im tired. How long do i wait for her? (Keep in mind we are both very mentally ill and struggle with abandonment, attatchment, commitment etc)
